Ep. 3: Tetsudou organizes a search party barbecue after Jinta and Atsumu report seeing Menma.

Jinta attempts to go to school but turns back after facing insults from Naruko's friends. He visits Tetsudou, who asserts he saw Menma the previous night. Upon returning home, Jinta finds Menma attempting to bake muffins using a recipe from his late mother, though she denies visiting Tetsudou. The following day, Tetsudou hosts a barbecue event titled a Menma Search Party to gather the group. Atsumu eventually arrives and also claims to have seen Menma, adding to the confusion surrounding the ghost's whereabouts and activities.
