Ep. 22: Sinbad helps indebted couple by using catapult to harvest coconuts from monkeys.
Aired on March 3, 1976

22
Sinbad arrives at a city where an elderly couple owes a merchant, paying with coconuts gathered by monkeys. He teaches them to shake nuts loose using stones, then builds a rapid-fire catapult to accelerate the process. A stray stone lands in a lake, awakening a giant two-headed snake that attacks the monkeys. Sinbad intervenes to save the animals, causing the snake to devour one of its own heads and die. In gratitude for their safety, the monkeys provide sufficient coconuts to clear the couple's debt entirely. This narrative draws from the Fifth Voyage of Sinbad the Sailor.
