Sinbad and Shera arrive at the Nile shores, where they encounter an elderly ferryman named Aladdin. This man was formerly a renowned king who lost everything in a war after losing his magic lamp. A genie now inhabits the river, forcing travelers to solve riddles or face sunken boats. Sinbad accepts the challenge and successfully answers the puzzles, causing the defeated genie to leave. With the waterway safe again, ferry services resume. Aladdin then decides to accompany Sinbad and Shera on their ongoing journey.
