Ep. 12: Arte Chooses to Return to Florence and Complete the Church Ceiling Project
After completing Sofia's portrait, Arte decides to return to Florence, where she learns Leo has been unconscious for several days. With the church deadline only a week away, Arte attempts to finish the ceiling alone but realizes the time is insufficient. Fortunately, everyone she has met since becoming Leo's apprentice offers their support. Leo eventually recovers and, despite critiquing mistakes, expresses pride in her work. Arte explains her desire to remain his apprentice, and he accepts her back. The church opens to the public, impressing Arte's mother, who is unaware that Arte secretly included all her loved ones in the painting. Arte begins writing letters to Katarina, who plans to visit, and happily resumes her chaotic life as Leo's apprentice.
