Ep. 11: Arte visits a workshop to paint Sofia, while Leo struggles in Florence and Arte faces illness in Venice.

Arte focuses on Sofia’s portrait by visiting a local workshop, where she meets apprentice Matei, who envies her noble education. Confused by his jealousy, Arte works harder. Meanwhile, a temperamental Leo misses Arte in Florence and accepts a commission to paint a church ceiling. In Venice, Arte falls ill, prompting Yuri to scold her for upsetting Katarina. Arte teaches Katarina painting basics, and upon completing Katarina’s portrait, Katarina shows it to Matei to prove Arte’s merit. Katarina admits anger that Arte rejects her noble status. Arte confides in Yuri, who offers a permanent job. Though reluctant, Arte accepts Yuri’s advice that refusing such opportunities would disrespect other painters. This helps Arte understand Leo’s earlier statement about supporting her choice to stay in Venice.
