Ayako, who has autism, faces ridicule from her classmates, with the exception of Yuri, who treats her kindly. Grateful for Yuri’s kindness, Ayako gifts her a beaded bracelet. Inspired by the gift, Yuri proposes a project for the school’s summer cultural festival: a large wall decoration made of colored, beaded cans. With the help of Ayako and other students, they collect empty cans across the city to create the artwork. However, a typhoon strikes the day before the festival, putting their efforts at risk.
