Ep. 27: Nadja and Kennosuke bond over shared dreams during a Monte Frio errand
Nadja struggles with her feelings for the Harcourt brothers and accidentally ruins the troupe's lunchtime soup. Following complaints from Rita and Kennosuke, George removes her from kitchen duties. To resolve the feud between Nadja and Kennosuke, George and Granny Anna send them on an errand to Monte Frio, passing a sunflower field. During the trip, Nadja dances while Kennosuke shares his backstory: inventor Chuuhachi Ninomiya took him in after his sister Hanako moved to relatives and he became a carpenter's apprentice before joining the troupe. Kennosuke reveals his dream of building a spaceship, leading Nadja to realize their similarities. Meanwhile, George visits Mrs. Ramilez, whom Granny Anna wants to embroider hats. Nadja crafts a kimono for Kennosuke, who returns the favor by gifting her a repaired typewriter.
