Manami and Aoi observe Kio and Eris, waiting for the right moment to act. Itokazu and Beautiful Contact attack the pair, but Aoi disobeys orders to save Kio. Kio pleads with Aoi, disguised as Momiji, to spare Eris. After Aoi leaves, Manami arrives with CIA support, knocks out Kio, and captures Eris. Kio recognizes Manami by her watch and later begs for her help to find Eris. With assistance from Aoi, his uncle, and blackmailing Itokazu and Beautiful Contact, Kio infiltrates the military compound where Eris is held by the DIA. They discover Eris has already escaped. The episode concludes with the Catian fleet appearing over the city to negotiate a treaty with the Japanese government, following Eris’s report about grilled beef.
