Sheffield, Edinburgh, and Akashi are trapped on an abandoned island surrounded by a Sakura Empire and Iron Blood blockade. Azur Lane dispatches a rescue fleet, with Prince of Wales leading a diversionary assault. Belfast, Cleveland, Javelin, and Laffey infiltrate the blockade to reach the island. Belfast and Cleveland encounter Takao and Atago, while Javelin and Laffey meet Ayanami. Zuikaku and Shoukaku pursue Hornet, allowing Enterprise to infiltrate the island. Enterprise forces Prinz Eugen, Z23, Z1, and Köln to retreat. Cleveland distracts Takao and Atago as Belfast aids Sheffield. Ayanami attacks Javelin and Laffey but stops fighting after Laffey expresses a desire for friendship despite their opposing sides.
