Ep. 2: The Flying Pussyfoot Departs Despite an Old Woman's Cursed Prophecy

In late 1931, Isaac and Miria, having failed to find gold in California, decide to rob a train after receiving a letter from Ennis in New York City. Lacking funds, they steal money from two mafia hitmen in Chicago and board the Flying Pussyfoot bound for Manhattan. Several passengers join them, including Czeslaw, Ladd, Lua, Nice, Jacuzzi, Senator Beriam’s wife Natalie and daughter Mary, an orchestra featuring Chane Laforet, and a woman in fatigues who sneaks aboard. Two conductors, one young with red hair and one older with dark hair, relieve a retiring conductor. Shortly after, the retiring conductor is killed, and his uniform is stolen by a red-headed Russo named Ladd. In the dining car, Isaac and Miria recount the legend of the Rail Tracer, terrifying Jacuzzi, who seeks help from the young conductor but encounters Ladd instead. Meanwhile, the older conductor holds the young one at gunpoint.
