The group travels to a city to find Webmaster Joe in a hospital, where the receptionist directs them to Room 501. Dan loses the others while searching and eventually finds Joe on the roof, challenging him to a battle to determine if he works for Masquerade. Joe is amazed to participate in his first Bakugan Field match. During the fight, Joe collapses and is taken to a room where the team and his mother wait. Upon waking, Joe shares a dream about Wavern, Naga's twin sister and the current owner of the Infinity Core. She warns him to prevent Naga from seizing the core to avoid destroying Vestroia. The team reflects on this warning, and Dan officially welcomes Joe to the Bakugan Battle Brawlers, bringing happiness to everyone.
