The brawlers struggle to find opponents, prompting Marucho and Julie to return home while Dan visits Runo and Alice. Alice reveals her suspicion that Runo watches her due to her lack of a Bakugan partner, a concern Runo admits stems from fears Alice works for Masquerade. Julie suspects Shun of similar allegiance after seeing him, leading her to confront him and his grandfather, whom she mistakenly attacks believing him to be Hal-G. Shun and Skyress clarify the error. Meanwhile, Dan and Runo face Shuji, Akira, and Nene in battle. Runo initially rejects Alice’s assistance but accepts it just before defeat. The trio wins, reconciling their friendship. Marucho discovers hacked files revealing the brawlers' secrets to an unknown party but chooses to withhold this information from the group for now.
