The brawlers discover that Masquerade has banished their former teammates' Bakugan to the Doom Dimension, where Hydranoid has evolved into Dual Hydranoid. Dan and Masquerade engage in another brawl, with Dan initially dominating the match. However, Masquerade activates a final ability card to reverse the outcome. Drago is defeated by Hydranoid and sent through the portal to the Doom Dimension. As the portal begins to close, Dan leaps in after his partner despite Shun's attempts to intervene. The battlefield vanishes, leaving the remaining brawlers horrified as they believe Dan and Drago are lost forever.
