The brawlers discover Naga remains trapped in the Silent Core, failing to achieve Ultimate Evolution. Billy reveals that Masquerade used negative energy to brainwash Naga, Klaus, Chan, Julio, and Komba. Shun stays silent, feeling the team is unfit to defeat Masquerade because Dan and Runo quarrel and Marucho mourns Preyas. He leaves, prompting Alice to follow him and explain that he cannot fight alone. Shun initially refuses, but Komba’s tough demeanor convinces him Alice was right. After Shun defeats Komba, Dan begs for his return. Shun agrees to rejoin, and the episode concludes with Komba asking Shun to teach him ninjutsu.
