Ep. 1: Takao Kinomiya challenges Blade Shark leader after losing his Beyblade to Carlos

Takao Kinomiya is late for a Beyblade battle with Andrew, the best in town. A Blade Shark named Carlos defeats him and takes his blade. Takao challenges Carlos to a rematch at 3:00 the next day at the river. Kyojyu, whose real name is Manabu Saien, befriends Takao. They realize they need a faster Bey to beat Carlos' heavier one. Takao struggles but then summons the Great Dragoon, a generational family power. He finally defeats Carlos. Kai, the Blade Sharks leader, arrives, prompting Takao to challenge him to a battle.
