Ep. 3: Takao and Kyojyu meet Max Mizuhara after a failed puppy rescue attempt

Takao and Kyojyu encounter Max Mizuhara, the new resident, immediately following an incident where a puppy is swept toward a waterfall. Takao tries to save the animal but fails, whereas Max succeeds. The two boys then engage in a Beyblade battle at Max's father's shop, with Max winning due to his defensive-type Beyblade. Daitokuji Kaichou, president of the BBA (Beyblade Battle Association), arrives to announce the upcoming Beyblade Battle Tournament, generating excitement among them. Kyojyu criticizes Takao's arrogance regarding the need for Beyblade improvements. Takao subsequently manages to control Dragoon successfully while Kyojyu observes from outside, leading to their reconciliation and renewed friendship.
