The Beyblade Regional Qualifying Tournament commences with Takao, Max, and Kyojyu aiming to defeat reigning champion Kai. Max secures victory in his block, advancing to the finals. Kyojyu places second but loses quickly to Kai due to lacking a Bit Beast, which infuriates Takao. Takao then competes against three thugs who captured Kyojyu and Carlos. After Carlos destroys one of his partners' Beys, the match narrows to Takao versus Carlos. Takao wins the battle and displays good sportsmanship toward Carlos. The episode concludes with the introduction of Rei Kon.
