Gennosuke holds the secret scroll listing the dead, ending Iga's deception. Oboro is horrified by Okoi's death, while Tenzen initially restrains his men due to uncertainty about Gennosuke's powers. However, attackers are killed by their own swords via Gennosuke's Doujutsu. Tenzen permits their passage, but Gennosuke ignores Oboro as he leaves. Tenzen then orders Chikuma Koshirou to attack, but Oboro intervenes, neutralizing Koshirou's abilities and allowing Gennosuke to wound him with Doujutsu. The following day, Koshirou is blind and wounded, and three Iga are dead. Tenzen berates Oboro and demands she kill Gennosuke, but she refuses, sealing her eyes shut with a potion provided by Ogen.
