Rousai interrogates Okoi about Kouga techniques in the salt store but is trapped and drained of blood after touching her. Meanwhile, Gyoubu and Saemon disguise themselves as Yashamaru to infiltrate the Iga Tsubagakure. Jingorou searches for Rousai and finds the salt store, where Hotarubi mistakes Kisaragi for Yashamaru and embraces him. Her snake bite injects poison, which Kisaragi absorbs. Okoi then seduces Jingorou, trapping him similarly to Rousai and beginning to drain his blood. Finally, Tenzen reveals to a shocked Oboro that the truce between Iga and Kouga has been annulled.
