Ep. 19: Shaizou’s Past Reflections and Hachiro’s Refusal Amidst Murakumo’s Advance

After Gorone’s funeral, Hachiro enters Murakumo while others prepare to rescue Hibiki. Shaizou’s eyes accidentally view Yasha Itaru’s Destiny’s Passage mirror, transporting him to childhood memories of helping his father cheat at cards and being beaten for failing his duty. As the Murakumo advances, Joujin proposes a peace plan to Hachiro, acknowledging casualties from Demon King Lord Nobunaga’s arrival. He urges Hachiro and Hibiki to consummate their love and sacrifice themselves. Hachiro refuses the proposal, leading to a confrontation where Hibiki approaches him with murderous intent.
