Luna detects a suspicious aura around Usagi’s genius classmate, Ami Mizuno, and suspects she is a spy for the Dark Kingdom. Ami is a quiet, intelligent student who often spends time alone. Believing she can help Ami improve her intelligence, Usagi befriends her and invites her to a game center. There, Ami leaves behind a floppy disk that Luna and Usagi identify as a Dark Kingdom artifact, leading them to wrongly assume she is an enemy. However, the misunderstanding is resolved when they discover that Ami Mizuno is actually Sailor Mercury, a fellow Sailor Guardian with duties identical to those of Sailor Moon.
