Following their victory over previous assailants, Jiro and his companions proceed to meet Zelman. On their journey back home, the group faces another assault by the Coven. In a retaliatory move, August proceeds to bomb Mimiko's apartment. This sequence of events highlights the escalating conflict and the personal vendettas driving the violence, as the characters navigate the dangers of the Special Zone while dealing with the immediate threats posed by their enemies.
