Ep. 11: Taurus's Heart and the Light Spear Aftermath and New Mission
Civil officers face terror as the JASDF is overwhelmed by a Gastrea swarm following the Monolith's collapse. Rentaro's adjuvants break rank to neutralize a detachment, but Hidehiko Gado reveals a mysterious "Lance of Light" that devastates remaining forces. Kisara identifies mercury poisoning in the wounded, while Tina reports a massive Stage Four Gastrea. Nagamasa explains the Aldebaran's regeneration and the Pleiades Gastrea's role in the "Lance of Light." Deeming the Pleiades equally threatening, Nagamasa forces Rentaro into a suicide mission to destroy them as punishment for his earlier insubordination. That night, Rentaro is ambushed by a Gastrea pack but is unexpectedly saved by Kagetane and Kohina. Although Kagetane fails to recruit Rentaro again, he provides the Pleiades' location the next day, leading the unlikely trio to set off on their dangerous quest.
