Ep. 9: Rentaro recruits Shoma and Midori while facing Monolith crisis and JASDF tensions
Tina suggests leaving the Tendo Agency to avoid endangering others due to Rand, but Rentaro refuses. Sumire uses Rentaro's security privileges to reveal classified Gastrea War data, though Nanahoshi Village and outbreak details remain locked. Meanwhile, the Monolith's degradation becomes public, prompting Seitenshi to hold a press conference. Rentaro and Enju visit an encampment, finding a murdered Promoter. Rentaro recruits his friend Promoter Shoma Nagisawa and Initiator Midori Fuse. Kisara and Tina also join the squad despite Rentaro's objections. Commander Nagamasa Gado rallies the camp to support the JASDF, but Rentaro challenges the plan and trust in the military. Finally, Rentaro and his new squad prepare for the battle to defend the Tokyo Area.
