Ep. 12: Rentaro assumes command after Pleiades Gastrea attack kills Nagamasa and Midori

Following the destruction of the Pleiades Gastrea by Rentaro and Kagetane, the Aldebaran assaults the civil officer encampment, killing Nagamasa. This event promotes Rentaro to commanding officer. Kagetane and Kohina enter the camp, facing murder accusations that Rentaro defends. Midori, suffering from a fatal Gastrea encounter, commits suicide to avoid burdening her unit. Grieving, Shoma forces Rentaro to swear vengeance against the Aldebaran. Rentaro exercises authoritarian control over the remaining officers, while Shoma teams with Asaka Mibu. Miori arrives with a bomb designed to destroy the Aldebaran from within. As night falls, civil officers and Shiba Heavy Weapons prepare for battle at the Flames of Revolution. Meanwhile, Takuto secretly sabotages the operation by removing the spotlight batteries required to locate the Gastrea.
