Tokyo Area ruler Seitenshi summons top Civil Security Agencies to the Ministry of Defense to exterminate Gastrea and retrieve a sealed case. Kagetane Hiruko interrupts, claiming the case contains the Inheritance of the Seven Stars, which he intends to use to destroy the Tokyo Area before killing most attendees. The following day, Rentaro and Enju witness police removing a Cursed Child from the Outer District, prompting Rentaro to lament their treatment. Kagetane later attempts to bribe Rentaro into joining him, but upon refusal, threatens to target Enju’s school. After rumors spread that Enju is a Cursed Child, she flees in fear. Rentaro desperately searches the Outer Districts, finding a man named Matsuzaki caring for Cursed Children, and confesses Enju’s importance to him, though she sorrowfully refuses to reveal herself.
