Black Jack and Pinoko adopt a stray dog they name Largo, who has a habit of stealing items and leaving them outside. When Largo takes a necklace given to the doctor as payment, they are forced to leave their home. Shortly after, an earthquake strikes, but both are saved because Largo detected the disaster beforehand. This broadcast was originally postponed due to a major earthquake occurring near the scheduled release date. It eventually aired after a baseball game telecast was cancelled, though it was not officially labeled as Karte 03 until it appeared in later series reruns.
