A student terrified of his instructor, Mr. Muramasa, is struck by a motorcycle while being compelled to attend school. Muramasa engages Black Jack to perform surgery aimed at preserving the boy's legs. Upon discovering the depth of his student's dread, the teacher departs the hospital in a disoriented state and is subsequently hit by a car. He attempts to settle Black Jack's fees for the operation by offering his life insurance policy. Despite these tragic events and the teacher's financial gesture, the doctor successfully saves both the student and the instructor.
