Rukia takes Ichigo to battle a hollow, criticizing his failure to protect friends and urging him to confront his inner hollow. Empowered, Ichigo defeats the enemy quickly. Rukia then brings him to Orihime to apologize for her inability to shield her from the arrancar. At Ichigo’s home, Hitsugaya details Aizen’s strategies regarding the arrancar and various hollow types. Meanwhile, in Hueco Mundo, Ulquiorra and Yammy present their real-world findings to Aizen and an assembly of arrancar. This segment is part of the Arrancar: The Arrival arc, specifically episode 6 out of 22.
