Ryuuken saves Uryuu from an Arrancar attack, offering to restore his powers if he abandons Soul Reapers. Kon flees from the Grand Fisher but is captured despite assistance from Ririn, Kuroudo, and Noba. Isshin Kurosaki arrives to rescue Kon, though Ichigo and Hirako sense a new presence they cannot identify as Isshin. Ichigo declines Hirako's invitation before the battle. The Grand Fisher draws his Zanpakuto and transforms into a stronger state. Isshin identifies the enemy as an Arrancar and kills him in a single strike, avenging his wife. This event concludes the Arrancar: The Arrival arc.
