Ichigo discovers the human child is an Arrancar named Nelliel Tu Oderschvanck, accompanied by her brothers Pesche Guatiche and Dondochakka Bilstin, and their pet Bawabawa. A hollow named Lunuganga attacks the group, proving immune to their attacks because his body is composed of sand. Renji and Rukia arrive to save them, with Rukia freezing Lunuganga using her shikai. Nelliel offers to guide the entire group to Las Noches. However, before they can reach their destination, Lunuganga rises from the sands once again. This event occurs during the Arrancar: The Hueco Mundo Sneak Entry arc, specifically episode 15 out of 20.
