Ep. 22: Ichigo meets Ganju Shiba after being expelled from the Seireitei by Ichimaru.
Ichimaru activates his shikai and forces Ichigo backward through the gate, effectively ejecting him from the Seireitei. Consequently, Ichigo and his companions must locate an alternative method to re-enter the district. During their search for an acquaintance of Yoruichi who is rumored to provide assistance, Ichigo encounters Ganju Shiba. Ganju identifies himself as the most vocal opponent of Soul Reapers residing in the western sector of the Rukon District. The two individuals share an immediate mutual animosity and engage in a physical confrontation. However, the fight is abruptly terminated when a clock attached to the back of one of Ganju's companions sounds. Following this interruption, Ganju and his associates depart the scene without further delay.
