Soi Fon remains pinned by Ggio while Nirgge attacks Oomaeda. Oomaeda defeats Nirgge and attempts to assist Soi Fon. Ggio prepares a cero blast to kill Oomaeda, but Soi Fon breaks free, knocking Oomaeda to safety. She reveals her intention to study the resurrección form of an Arrancar before facing the Espadas. Ggio transforms into his resurrección form to increase his power, yet Soi Fon easily defeats him using her zanpakutou ability. Following this victory, Soi Fon and Oomaeda proceed to face Baraggan. This segment is part of the Arrancar: Decisive Battle of Karakura arc, specifically episode 9 of 12.
