Ggio Vega and Nirgge Parduoc, the two remaining Fracciones of Barragan, engage Soi Fon and Marechiyo Oomaeda. Shunsui Kyouraku and Juushirou Ukitake, captains of the eighth and thirteenth divisions, confront Coyote Stark but refuse to fight his Fraccion, Lilinette Gingerbuck. Meanwhile, Toushirou Hitsugaya battles Tier Halibel, while Rangiku Matsumoto fights her Fracciones, who utilize cero blasts to defend against her zanpakutou. Oomaeda struggles against Nirgge, allowing Soi Fon to pin Ggio to a wall and release her zanpakutou. This segment is part of the Arrancar: Decisive Battle of Karakura arc, specifically episode 7 out of 12.
