Ggio breaks free from his restraints and engages Soi Fon in combat, criticizing her for sparing him earlier. He summons his zanpakutou, Tigre Estoque, and fights her with comparable or superior ability. Meanwhile, Oomaeda battles Nirgge, who initially matches his speed even in a slower release state. Oomaeda then reveals his earlier slowness was a ruse, outmaneuvering Nirgge to strike him with Gegetsuburi. Although Nirgge recovers, he is knocked down again when Ggio accidentally hits Soi Fon into his head during the ongoing struggle. This sequence is part of the Arrancar: Decisive Battle of Karakura arc, specifically episode 8 out of 12.
