Lilynette attacks Ukitake, who blocks her effortlessly and urges surrender, provoking her anger. Ayon, a fused creature, severely injures Rangiku and Momo with ease until Hisagi and Izuru arrive to intervene. While Izuru treats the wounded, Hisagi engages Ayon but is overpowered. Iba attempts to assist but is repelled by a cero blast from Ayon’s hidden eye. The beast discards Hisagi and targets Izuru. Disappointed that his subordinates failed to defeat the enemy, Yamamoto steps in to fight Ayon directly, managing to wound it with his staff during the confrontation.
