Long ago, Halibel recruited Emilou Apacci, Franceska Mila Rose, and Cyan Sung-Sun as the Tres Bestias to hunt hollows. She refused Baraggan’s offer to join his side. Later, Aizen, Gin, and Tousen arrived in Hueco Mundo. A shark-like hollow attacked Halibel, defeating the Tres Bestias. Aizen intervened, killing the hollow and recruiting Halibel by promising no sacrifices were needed for strength. In the present, Halibel attacks Aizen, but he stabs her left shoulder with an illusion, causing her to fall. Aizen then challenges the Soul Reapers and Vizards to combat.
