Kyouraku discloses that he stabbed Starrk and explains his zanpakutou possesses four techniques based on children's games. Starrk quickly adapts, using these attacks against his opponent. Lilynette intervenes to save Starrk by absorbing a fatal blow, sacrificing her life. Grief-stricken, Starrk nearly overpowers Kyouraku, but the latter defeats him by targeting his hollow hole. As Starrk dies, a flashback shows his first meeting with Lilynette in Hueco Mundo. Meanwhile, Aizen, weary of the conflict, decides Halibel is no longer needed and slashes her. This segment belongs to the Arrancar: Downfall arc, specifically episode 18 out of 39.
