Aizen defeats opponents and stabs Yamamoto, who ignites flames to trap them both. Wonderweiss arrives and extinguishes the fire, revealing the power to nullify Ryuujin Jakka. The two engage in unarmed combat, where Yamamoto shatters Wonderweiss’s body. As Wonderweiss dies, he releases sealed flames, but Yamamoto uses his body to minimize the explosion's damage. Aizen approaches the immobilized Yamamoto to finish him, yet Yamamoto activates Ittou Kasou, a forbidden kidou spell of sacrifice, using his body as a catalyst. This traps Aizen in the resulting explosion. Although Aizen escapes relatively unscathed, Ichigo immediately attacks him. This sequence occurs during the Arrancar: Downfall arc, specifically episode 28 out of 39.
