Ichigo fails to injure Aizen and is overpowered but survives. Komamura calms Ichigo, warning him against Aizen's deception. The Soul Reapers and Vizards unite to shield Ichigo from seeing Aizen's Shikai, allowing him to deliver the final blow. Hitsugaya charges forward, and Aizen provokes him by mentioning Momo Hinamori, suggesting his hatred might have vanished. Enraged, Hitsugaya attacks and releases his Bankai as the other Soul Reapers join the assault. This segment is part of the Arrancar: Downfall arc, episode 26 of 39.
