Ichigo trains with Jackie, who initially dominates him using superior experience. Ichigo activates his Fullbring ability, Bringer Light, to gain the upper hand. During the fight, his powers spiral out of control, yet he refuses to stop despite Jackie's pleas to end the session. Suddenly, Tsukishima assaults the Xcution group with the intent to kill Ichigo. He slices through the fish tank holding both combatants. Ichigo then emerges, demonstrating the next evolution of his Fullbring capabilities. This event occurs within the Lost Substitute Shinigami arc on date 10/23.
