Ichigo continues his training while hoping to battle a member of Xcution. Ginjou proposes Jackie Tristan as his opponent, but she refuses and leaves angrily. Meanwhile, Tsukishima orders Shishigawara to follow Chad, though Chad remains wary without any attack occurring. After observing Ichigo pass his training inside a bird cage, Jackie decides to fight him in a fish tank, both arranged by Riruka. Jackie introduces herself fully, activates her Fullbring using her boots, and attacks the surprised Ichigo. This event occurs during the Lost Substitute Shinigami arc on 9/23.
