Upon waking, Ichigo learns from Yoruichi that she is female. She then provides him with a flying device, which he uses to rescue Ganju and Hanatarou. Meanwhile, Byakuya swiftly defeats Ganju using his shikai but is interrupted by Juushirou Ukitake, the captain of the thirteenth division. Ichigo arrives at the scene and engages Byakuya in combat. Just as Byakuya prepares to activate his shikai, Yoruichi intervenes to stop him. This event concludes the Soul Society: The Sneak Entry arc, marking the twenty-first and final installment of the series.
