Kenpachi, Orihime, and their subordinates journey to the execution grounds but are intercepted by captains Sajin Komamura and Tousen, accompanied by lieutenants Tetsuzaemon Iba and Shuuhei Hisagi. Ikkaku Madarame engages Iba in combat, while Yumichika Ayasegawa fights Hisagi. Simultaneously, Komamura and Tousen confront Kenpachi. In a separate location, Renji has successfully obtained his bankai. Yoruichi expresses confidence that Ichigo will achieve the same result. This narrative occurs during the Soul Society: The Rescue arc, specifically identified as episode 10 out of 22.
