Yoruichi observes that Ichigo's bankai training is progressing well and decides to end the session for the day. During their following discussion, she discloses that Kisuke Urahara previously served as the captain of the twelfth division. In a separate location, Toushirou Hitsugaya questions Gin Ichimaru and Momo Hinamori about Sōsuke Aizen's murder. Hinamori interrupts the interrogation, falsely accusing Hitsugaya of killing Aizen. In response, Hitsugaya strikes Hinamori, rendering her unconscious, and then readies himself to execute Ichimaru. This segment is part of the Soul Society: The Rescue arc, specifically episode 6 out of 22.
