Yoshino and Uryuu are ambushed by Bount Gou Koga, who deploys his doll Dalk, a metallic spider-like entity. After a brief skirmish, Koga abducts the pair and transports them to Kariya's mansion. Utilizing modified soul-sensing capabilities, Ichigo locates the Bounts and heads to their hideout. Simultaneously, in the Soul Society, Mayuri convenes a meeting of all Soul Reaper captains to address a traitor who deleted database records. Kenpachi suspects Ichinose is responsible. At the mansion, Kariya tries to secure Uryuu's allegiance by promising a superior world for Bounts and Quincies, but Uryuu remains wary of his motives.
