Ichigo and Renji train throughout the night at Urahara's shop. Meanwhile, Yoshino merges with Goethe to boost her power and tries to kill Kariya. He easily overcomes her, leading to her death. Afterward, Kariya utilizes her corpse to generate bitto, insects capable of consuming souls. This event occurs during the Bount arc, which is the sixteenth episode out of twenty-eight in the series.
