Saya, Hagi, and the Red Shield travel to the Metropolitan Opera House to prevent Diva's performance. Nathan informs Amshel that the world exists to showcase Diva's beauty, claiming he witnessed her past with their mother and a faithful chevalier. Kai confronts Hagi about hiding Saya's impending hibernation, prompting Saya to slip him a key and whisper goodbye. Saya and Hagi attempt to attack Diva, but Saya becomes woozy and unable to fight. Hagi engages a decoy, only to discover it is Amshel in disguise. The real Diva begins her performance, causing audience members to transform into chiropterans. Lewis attempts to destroy relay stations, but the signal persists via military satellite feeds. Kai, David, Lewis, and Lulu destroy equipment in relay vans while surrounded by chiropterans, leaving David injured. Hagi distracts Amshel, allowing Saya to pursue Diva as Nathan watches from the audience with the babies beside him.
