During summer vacation, Mari, Hagino, Michiko, and Akane visit Hiroko’s house to swim in the ocean. When Hagino retrieves a shell, rain begins to fall, prompting Mari to call out for her. Simultaneously, Hiroko’s pregnant sister goes into labor, leaving the group to care for the newborn niece. The girls face challenges such as changing diapers and feeding the infant but eventually soothe the baby. Hagino presents the found shell to Tsubael as a gift. Upon returning to retrieve the child, Hiroko discovers the four girls asleep, with Mari and Hagino resting beside each other.
