Yamada prepares for a photoshoot in Hiroshima while Kyotaro attends a cherry blossom party with friends. Kyotaro notices Yamada wearing his gifts on social media, fearing this could harm her career since they have not publicly announced their relationship. He spots a devoted fan who seems to have discovered their connection and warns Yamada during a video call. The call ends abruptly when Yamada is startled, leading to a day of silence that causes Kyotaro significant anxiety. He visits Yamada’s home, where her father explains she accidentally dropped her phone in water after being frightened by her mother. After the misunderstanding is cleared, both teenagers confess their romantic feelings to Yamada’s parents, who react positively. Later, Kyotaro encounters an online post from the obsessive fan claiming to have met Yamada. He rushes to meet Yamada and her friend Niko for ramen, only to realize the fan is actually Niko herself. Relieved that Yamada is safe, Kyotaro stops worrying. On the train home, the couple agrees to maintain appropriate distance in public and be cautious about their online posts.
